The transition from summer to autumn on a country road in New England near my house. This image is straight out of the camera, no editing except minor cropping on the left side.
The foliage is changing but it is still early, and this was a great find considering I have been hunting daily for something of this nature.

Castle Hill on the Crane Estate - Ipswich MA.
Originally, an Italian-inspired mansion was built upon the hill. Apparently, Mrs. Crane wasn’t terribly fond of it, so it was taken down and replaced in 1928 by the English-style mansion in the photo.
